AISB 2000: Timetable

Location


The symposia will take place on the main campus of the University of Birmingham. The University campus is close to the centre of Birmingham with excellient access by car, bus and has its own train station ("University") on the main city line. Further information on travelling to the university is available here.


  • All Symposia will be held in Lecture Rooms 2, 4 and 6 in the Arts Building (next door to the University Library).
    LR2 and LR4 are on the First Floor, whereas LR6 is on the Third Floor.

  • The plenary lectures will be held in the Large Lecture Theatre on the First Floor of the Arts Building. A map showing the relevant buildings is available here.

    Note: There is a construction site between the University station and the centre of campus. Just follow the path round part of the site, and then keep the clocktower to your right. You will go past the university library and will then see the Arts building ahead of you. Allow 7 or 8 minutes for the walk. Trains go in either direction between the University and the city centre every 15 minutes or so.

    • Registration

    The registration desk will be open from 8:30 to 18:00 Monday to Wednesday.
    It will be in the Mason Lounge, on the Ground Floor of the Arts Building.
