Visiting Assistant Professorship in Philosophy of Science, Glassboro NJ (U.S.A.)

POSITION:  Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, ? time temporary 
(one year)

DESCRIPTION:  Applicants are invited for this position in the Department 
of Philosophy and Religion Studies.  Primary responsibilities will include 
the teaching of an undergraduate course in the Philosophy of Science (2 
sections per semester), as well as courses in Philosophy of Medicine, 
Biomedical Ethics, and/or Modern and Contemporary World Philosophy. Three 
courses per semester.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Ph.D. in Philosophy, with specialization in Philosophy of 
Science, and strong competence in the Philosophy of Medicine, Biomedical 
Ethics, and history of modern and contemporary philosophy. Excellent 
teaching and communication skills, commitment to undergraduate education, 
some scholarly activity.

STARTING DATE:  September 1, 2013

SALARY RANGE:  Competitive
