Teorema Essay Prize for Young Scholars, Topic: Self-knowledge


The Spanish Philosophy journal teorema is pleased to announce anessay
for young scholars. The winner will receive 1500, and the essay will be
published and acknowledged as winner in the journal.

*Topic: Self-knowledge*

Applicants must be under 35 on the closing date of the competition.

Entries must be in English or Spanish, and not exceed 8000 words in length,
notes and references included.

All entries will be deemed submissions to teorema, and all quality
submissions will be considered for publication. Entries must not have been
published before, or be under consideration by other journals.

All entries, prepared for blind review, will be submitted electronically in
.doc format, and addressed to the Editor, indicating ?teorema EssayPrize?
in the subject heading.

Entries will be judged by a panel of reputed scholars appointed by teorema.
Their decision will be final.

*Premio de ensayo** teorema **para investigadores noveles*

La revista espaola de filosofa teorema se complace en anunciar un
concurso de ensayo para investigadores noveles. El ganador obtendr un
premio de 1.500 y el ensayo ser publicado en la revista, que le
reconocer como ganador.

*Tema: El autoconocimiento*

Los participantes debern tener menos de 35 aos en la fecha lmite de
recepcin de originales para el concurso.

Los ensayos debern estar en espaol o en ingls y no debern exceder las
8.000 palabras (incluyendo notas y bibliografa).

Se entender que todos los ensayos presentados al concurso se someten a la
consideracin de teorema para su publicacin, y aquellos que tengan calidad
suficiente podrn ser publicados. No se aceptarn ensayos publicados
previamente, o que estn siendo evaluados  por otras revistas.

Todos los artculos debern estar preparados para revisin ?ciega? y se
presentarn electrnicamente en formato doc. Debern ir dirigidos al
director de teorema indicando en el ?asunto? del mensaje ?Premio teorema de

teorema nombrar un jurado formado por investigadores de prestigio, que
decidir sobre la concesin del premio. Su decisin ser inapelable.
