Faculty position in Medical Imaging/Learning/Vision (Ecole Centrale de Paris)
Ecole Centrale de Paris http://www.ecp.fr Department of Applied Mathematics The Department of Applied Mathematics of Ecole Centrale de Paris had one immediate opening for a tenured faculty position at the level of assistant professor in the following areas: machine learning (with applications in medical imaging, vision/graphics), medical imaging or computer vision. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or a closely related field, proven research credentials and ability to carry on independent research. He/She is expected to enforce on-going research activities in the above mentioned areas. Ecole Centrale de Paris, is one of the most exclussive engineering schools in France (Grande Ecoles) ranked among the top three. It is located in the greater Paris region and is accessible from Paris via public transportation. It has a long tradition on admitting and forming engineers of the highest quality, through a very competitive process. The candidate is expected to closely collaborate with INRIA Futurs/Saclay - a leading research organization in the area of informatics and engineering, as well as with the top clinical and industrial players in the field.
