UNIVERSITY OF CYPRUS DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE VISITING ACADEMIC POSITIONS The Department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus has a number of vacancies for Visiting Academics at the ranks of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. ALL areas of Computer Science will be considered. A visiting appointment is for one semester (Spring semester: 15 Jan - 31 May; Winter semester: 1 Sept - 31 Dec), but it can be renewed for up to four semesters. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant subject and BE FLUENT IN GREEK (both these requirements are mandatory). Monthly gross salaries, in Euro, for these positions are: Visiting Academic (Professor) 3.815,32 Visiting Academic (Associate Professor) 3.429,56 Visiting Academic (Assistant Professor) 3.253,42 Visiting Academic (Lecturer) 2.837,70 Presently, the Department is seeking applications for the academic year 2008-2009.
