This  event will be held  from August 6th to August  9th  at  the Centre for Logic, Epistemology 
and the History of Science, CLE, State University of Campinas ?UNICAMP  within  the scope of the 
international  project  MaToMUVI - Mathematical Tools for  the Management of Uncertain and Vague 
Information.

MaToMUVI   is a research project involving  13 Universities in Argentina, Brazil, Italy and Spain  
funded by Marie Curie International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES) 2009 project and 
co-funded by the European Commission within "Marie Curie" actions of the Seventh Framework Programme


Research topics areas include:

- Semantics for Uncertain and Vague Reasoning
  (including fuzzy, paraconsistent, etc.);

- Logics and Mathematics of Uncertainty and Vagueness;

- Philosophy of Inexactness
