The Barcelona Media Foundation and the Image Processing Group at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) (http://www.iua.upf.es/recerca/image_processing/im_proc_c.htm) are offering several post-doctoral positions within the EU project 20203D, which constitute an excellent opportunity for original research both on applied and scientific computing in the application field of content technologies for new media. The positions are offered for a period of 3 years (starting as early as possible in 2008) and are addressed to post-docs with expertise or strong background in at least one of the following fields: * 3D vision, the geometry of multi-camera systems, stereo imaging, the computational methods in this area, * GPU programming techniques, GPU for 3D reconstruction * Interpolation methods for view synthesis, image based rendering and computer graphic techniques in image interpolation. * Image processing and analysis Applicants are expected to have a degree in any related discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics), and proficient programming experience (C/C++/Matlab or Python).
