AI-2012 offers the perfect opportunity for you to update your knowledge of current AI developments 
and applications, and to meet with leading AI practitioners in a relaxed social environment. This 
year's conference brings technical papers on the latest developments in AI, presentations from 
industry practitioners with practical experience of applying AI in the real world, and a range of 
workshops
- ideal for those seeking to expand and deepen their knowledge of a wide range of AI techniques. 
All this in the historic surroundings of Peterhouse, Cambridge's oldest college. 

Workshops are now FREE for those registering at the main conference 

WORKSHOPS

There is a preliminary day (Tuesday December 11th) devoted to half- day workshops on: 

- Practical Data Mining 

- Artificial Intelligence and Geospatial Technology

- Natural Language Processing 

- Robotics and Intelligent Control

together with the 17th UK CBR Workshop (full day). 

This day is included FREE for attendees of the main conference, but can be attended on its own at 
a special rate. 

MAIN CONFERENCE 

The main 2-day conference (Wednesday December 12th - Thursday December 13th) includes:

- Technical stream refereed papers on Data Mining, Data Mining and Machine Learning, Planning and 
Optimisation, and Knowledge Management and Prediction

Applications and Systems, and Data Mining and Machine Learning

- Poster sessions on emerging research and applications in intelligent systems.

This year's conference will be held at Peterhouse College in Cambridge. In addition to the formal 
sessions, the conference programme includes a welcome reception and a Gala Dinner. Plenty of time 
has been inserted into the programme to allow discussions with other delegates and time to make 
new contacts and renew old acquaintances. 

AI-2012 offers a valuable opportunity to keep up to date with developments in AI and to share 
experiences in the practical issues of developing AI based systems.
