NEW SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences
Dear Colleague: We are pleased to announce the launch of SIAM Journal on Imaging Science (SIIMS). SIIMS is a groundbreaking all-electronic journal that provides a broad authoritative source for fundamental results in imaging sciences - with a unique combination of mathematics and applications. It is mathematically and computationally based and offers a forum to highlight the commonality of methodology, models, and algorithms among diverse application areas of imaging science. SIIMS covers all areas of imaging sciences and fundamental mathematical theories addressing imaging problems, leading to applications to diverse areas in science, medicine, engineering, and other fields. Please visit http://www.siam.org/journals/siims.php to learn about the very prestigious and diverse Editorial Board, as well as additional details on the journal’s policies and goals. SIIMS will be available for free in 2008 for those who register for a complimentary subscription. We are currently accepting manuscripts (http://siims.siam.org) and encourage authors to submit supplemental files which may include robust use of color, animations, video, code, data, and presentations. We are excited about SIIMS and look forward to it becoming the journal of choice for those interested in mathematical imaging sciences. You can help us accomplish this goal. Cordially, Guillermo Sapiro Editor-in-Chief SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences (SIIMS) |
