CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: AISB 2013 CONVENTION, 3rd - 5th April 2013, Exeter, UK

The annual convention of the SSAISB, AISB 2013, will take place from the 3rd to 
the 5th April 2013 at the University of Exeter.  This promises to be an exciting 
and stimulating convention in an ideal location.  The University has recently 
been recognised as Sunday Times "University of the Year" and now boasts the £50 
million forum development which is part of a £275 mullion redevelopment of the 
campus.  In addition, the city itself has excellent transport links with mainline 
train stations, an international airport and the M5 close by.  It also has some 
of the best natural scenery in the country on its doorstep (e.g. Dartmoor, 
Exmoor and the Jurassic Coast) with Cornwall and the Eden Project only 1hr 30 
mins away.

 * Noel Sharkey (Sheffield)
 * Jon Williamson (Kent)

The 2013 convention comprises the following 9 symposia:

 * Artificial Intelligence and Poetry
 * Computing and Philosophy: the Scandal of Computation
 * Do-Form: Enabling Domain Experts to use Formalised Reasoning
 * Enaction: Challenges and Successes
 * Machine Learning in Water Systems
 * Music and Unconventional Computing
 * Re-conceptualizing Mental "Illness"
 * Social Coordination: Principles, Artefacts and Theories (SOCIAL.PATH)
 * Nature Inspired Computation and Applications

Included in the registration is access to all symposia and plenary talks, 
lunches and tea and coffee on registered days.  A cream tea and drinks reception 
on the Wednesday are also included.  A separately bookable gala dinner will also 
take place on Thursday evening, costing just £38.  For further information,
