Job description:
Applications are invited for RESEARCHER positions (at least 3 years post-doctoral experience) in thematic areas of Artificial Intelligence. The number of positions depends on the total number of positions contracted with FCT (the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation) and according to the quality of the curriculum vitae of the selected candidates, expected to be at the very good or excellent level. Applicants should have the PhD degree obtained before September, 30, 2005. However, in case of excellent Curriculum Vitae, applicants with less than 3-years after PhD can apply.
 
The annual gross income, before taxes, will be approximately 43,000 Euros.
 
These positions offered are for a 5-year contract to work at our research institution, GECAD – Grupo de Investigação em Engenharia do Conhecimento e Apoio à Decisão (Knowledge Engineering and Decision Support Research Group), in the Porto area, in Portugal.
